🟠 法光法師教授 簡介:
▪️法光法師教授，1949年出生於吉隆玻。 他從1982 年起在斯裡蘭卡凱拉尼亞大學，巴利文及佛學研究生院任教22 餘年；後到香港大學佛學研究中心任教10 餘年。

▪️法師自2012年從香港大學佛學研究中心榮休後，旋即創辦了香港佛法中心，並與斯裡蘭卡凱拉尼亞大學合辦佛學研究課程。在2020年，在馬來西亞成立了明行學處 (Vidyacarana Buddhist Resource) ，在本地延續了和斯裡蘭卡凱拉尼亞大學的合作。在2023，法師獲榮斯裡蘭卡凱拉尼亞大學頒授名譽教授。法師目前也是香港光明精舍住持、泰國國際佛教大學名譽校長等。

▪️法光法師教授從事英文和漢語佛學研究與教學30餘年，其“説一切有部阿毘達磨”研究在國際佛學研究中處於領先地位。可是法師常説：“我希望大家不要把我看作是所謂學者型法師。我認爲，首先我是一名佛教徒，我不分宗派，我的主張是向佛學習，直探世尊的本懷。”

▪️法师毕生致力于推广 “学佛而佛学 佛学而学佛”。

🟣  Venerable Professor KL Dhammajoti – Brief Introduction

▪️Venerable Professor KL Dhammajoti was born in 1949 in Kuala Lumpur. Beginning in 1982, he taught for over 22 years at the Postgraduate Institute of Pali and Buddhist Studies at the University of Kelaniya in Sri Lanka. He later served more than 10 years at the Centre of Buddhist Studies, The University of Hong Kong.

▪️After retiring from the Centre of Buddhist Studies at The University of Hong Kong in 2012, Venerable Professor KL Dhammajoti founded the Hong Kong Centre of the Buddha-Dhamma. He also collaborated with the University of Kelaniya to offer Buddhist studies programs. In 2020, he established Vidyacarana Buddhist Resource in Malaysia, continuing the academic collaboration with the University of Kelaniya locally. In 2023, he was conferred the title of Honorary Professor by the University of Kelaniya. He currently also serves as the Abbot of Hong Kong’s GuangMing Vihara and the Honorary President of the International Buddhist University in Thailand.

▪️Venerable Professor KL Dhammajoti has been engaged in Buddhist research and teaching in both English and Chinese for over 30 years. His studies on the Abhidhamma of the Sarvāstivāda School are considered to be at the forefront of international Buddhist scholarship. However, he often says:
"I hope people do not see me merely as a so-called scholar-monk. First and foremost, I am a Buddhist. I do not identify with any particular sect. My principle is to learn directly from the Buddha, to pursue the original intention of the Blessed One."

▪️Throughout his life, Venerable Professor KL Dhammajoti has devoted himself to promoting the ideal:
"To study Buddhism as a way of learning to become a Buddha;
To learn the Dhamma as a path to walk the Buddha’s way.
