缘起 Our Beginning
大马学子参与澳洲新南威尔斯大学慧命社期间，经上藏下慧导师善导教化下，生起对三宝的信心和学佛的信念。导师着重滋养正知正见以启发正信与正行。
The faith in the Triple Gems and the conviction of practicing Buddha Dharma of a group of Malaysian students germinated and grew under the earnest guidance of Venerable Tsang Hui, the patron of The Buddhist Society of New South Wales University, Australia. Venerable always stresses on the cultivation of right awareness and insight which in turn arouses right faith and practice.
毕业回国后，或因生计忙碌，或因学佛信念的差异而不能满足于一般佛教活动而导致修学上有了障碍。有鉴于此，慈悲的导师常抽空来给于鼓励与教导。成立佛友会的念头应此因缘生。经导师答应充为导师下，正信佛友会于一九九七年正式成立。
Upon returning after graduation, their attempts for continuous practice were hindered either by busy involvement in making a living, or by discontentment in local Buddhist activities due to difference in conviction of practice. This prompted Venerable to always find time to come to Malaysia to encourage and guide them. It was then the idea to form Zheng Xin took shape. in 1997, Zheng Xin was officially formed with Venerable agreed as its patron.
当初佛友会的活动，似打游击式地在会员居家举行。这产生不便，也不适宜和有效宏扬佛法。对一个适合集会和活动的中心的渴求与日增长。在三宝慈悲摄受下，佛友会于二〇〇三年迁入现址。
Initially, Zheng Xin members had to move around form a member's house to another for gathering and activities. This was very inconvenient and could not effectively serve the purpose of propagating Buddha Dharma. With the passing of time, the desire to have a fixed center of activities within a commercial zone, ideal for mass gathering, grew stronger and stronger. Finally, with the blessing of Triple Gems, Zheng Xin moved into the present address in 2003.
