🌟 今日「正信青少年组」展开了一场充满文化与佛教教育意义的参访活动，前往「泰国皇家智达苑佛寺（Chetawan Thai Buddhist Temple）」以及「园林小筑」进行交流与学习。通过实地参访，青年们不仅增广见闻，也更深入认识南传佛教与北传佛教在建筑艺术、文化传统以及修行氛围上的不同特色。

🫆「泰国皇家智达苑佛寺（Chetawan Thai Buddhist Temple）」位于马来西亚雪兰莪州八打灵再也，是马来西亚最具代表性的泰国南传佛教寺院之一。寺庙始建于1957年，由泰国僧侣 Phra Kru Palat Vieng 发起筹建，并获得泰国与马来亚两地佛教徒及社会人士的大力支持。

🌟 寺庙于1962年正式落成，并由当时的泰国国王——普密蓬·阿杜德国王（King Bhumibol Adulyadej，拉玛九世）与诗丽吉皇后（Queen Sirikit）亲临主持开光与揭顶仪式。国王陛下除了亲自捐献建寺基金之外，更御赐寺庙皇家徽章，并赠送主佛殿重要佛像“Phra Buddha Thammeen”，象征泰国皇室对该寺院的高度重视与护持。

🫆 在揭顶仪式中，泰王亲自主持 “Chofa”（泰式寺庙屋顶尖饰）的安置仪式。Chofa 是泰式佛寺建筑中极具象征意义的装饰元素，代表寺庙神圣与吉祥，因此这项仪式也具有非常重要的宗教与历史意义。时至今日，「智达苑泰佛寺」仍是马来西亚唯一获准悬挂泰王皇家徽章的泰国佛寺，充分体现马泰两国之间深厚的文化与佛教交流关系。

🌟 寺庙整体建筑以金黄色调为主，拥有层层飞檐、精美雕刻、多彩琉璃装饰以及庄严佛塔，充分展现泰国传统佛教艺术的华丽与庄严。寺内亦供奉佛陀舍利，并设有禅修与诵经空间，为信众提供学习佛法与静修的清净道场。青年团成员在参访过程中，也进一步了解南传佛教的文化特色。

🫆 随后，参访团也前往园林小筑，体验另一种富有东方美学气息的北传佛教文化空间。北传佛教长期受到中华文化影响，因此建筑风格较为典雅含蓄，讲究人与自然之间的和谐关系。园林小筑融合传统园林设计与佛教文化元素，在宁静优美的环境中营造出让人沉淀身心的空间。

🌟 园区内设有咖啡馆与休闲空间，让大众能够在轻松自在的氛围中交流、阅读、静坐以及亲近自然，也体现现代佛教文化空间与生活美学结合的理念。

🫆 此次参访期间，「正信青少年組」也特别与「马佛总蒲种支会」进行交流与分享，彼此增进联系，并感谢「马佛总蒲种支会」的热情接待与精心安排，让整个活动圆满且充满法喜。

🌟 通过此次参访，青年们深刻感受到，虽然南传佛教与北传佛教在文化表现与建筑风格上各具特色，但其核心精神皆是引导大众学习慈悲、智慧与内心的成长。相信这趟文化与心灵之旅，必将成为青年们宝贵而难忘的学习经验。

🫆「ZX Youth Group」 embarked on a meaningful educational visit to the 「Chetawan Thai Buddhist Temple」 and 「Yuan Lin Xiao Zhu」, providing members with the opportunity to appreciate the distinct cultural, architectural, and spiritual traditions of Theravāda and Mahāyāna Buddhism.

🌟 Located in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Chetawan Thai Buddhist Temple is one of the most prominent Thai Theravāda Buddhist temples in Malaysia. The temple was initiated in 1957 by Phra Kru Palat Vieng and was built with strong support from Thai and Malayan Buddhists, as well as contributions from both governments and devotees.

🫆 The temple was officially inaugurated in 1962 by the late Thai King Bhumibol Adulyadej and Queen Sirikit during their royal visit to Malaya. King Bhumibol personally contributed funds towards the construction of the temple and graciously bestowed the royal insignia to be mounted on the temple façade — a rare honour granted only to this Thai temple in Malaysia.

🌟 The King also donated the temple’s principal Buddha image, known as “Phra Buddha Thammeen,” symbolizing the Thai Royal Family’s support and compassion towards the Buddhist community in Malaysia. During the inauguration ceremony, the King personally performed the sacred raising of the “Chofa,” the ornate roof finial found in traditional Thai temples, signifying the consecration and sanctity of the temple.

🫆 The temple’s architecture is renowned for its golden colour palette, multi-tiered roofs, intricate carvings, colourful glass mosaics, and majestic stupas, reflecting the elegance and grandeur of traditional Thai Buddhist art. The temple also houses sacred Buddha relics and provides spaces for meditation and religious practices, allowing devotees to cultivate mindfulness and spiritual learning. Through the visit, participants gained deeper insight into the Theravāda Buddhist tradition.

🌟 The group later visited 「Yuan Lin Xiao Zhu」, which showcases the cultural atmosphere of Mahāyāna Buddhism influenced by Chinese Mahayana traditions. Compared to the grandeur of Thai temple architecture, the environment here reflects a more refined and tranquil Chinese aesthetic, emphasizing harmony between nature, architecture, and spiritual cultivation.

🫆 Blending traditional garden concepts with Buddhist cultural elements, 「Yuan Lin Xiao Zhu」 offers visitors a peaceful sanctuary for relaxation, reflection, reading, and meaningful interaction with nature. The café within the garden further creates a warm and welcoming environment that integrates Buddhist culture with modern lifestyle aesthetics.

🌟 During the visit, the ZX Youth Group also had the opportunity to interact and share experiences with the MBSS Puchong Branch, while expressing heartfelt appreciation for their warm hospitality and thoughtful arrangements throughout the programme.

🫆 Through this meaningful journey, participants came to appreciate that although Theravāda and Mahāyāna Buddhism differ in cultural expressions and architectural styles, both traditions ultimately guide people toward compassion, wisdom, and inner growth. The visit was truly a valuable and inspiring learning experience for all involved.
