Selected Translations of Miao Yun （妙云选译）– Venerable Yin Shun （印顺导师） (Volumes as noted below)

The Editing and Translating Committee was formed in 1994, and has focused primarily on translating the Miao Yun Collection. The committee has been supported and encouraged by Venerable Tsang Hui, since its inception.

To date, eight volumes of this collection have been translated.

The volumes have been typeset with the original Chinese characters on the first page, with the translated and edited English text on the opposite page. They are as follows:

• Volume I, of 271 pages, is an introductory text on following the Teachings of the Buddha. (1st edition 1995. This book has been revised in 2002)
• Volume II, of 263 pages, includes suffering, rebirth, the Middle Path, and Emptiness. (1st edition 1996. This book has been revised in 2008)
• Volume III of 379 pages, discusses rebirth, ways of practice, and Bodhicitta. (1st edition 1998)
• Volume IV, of 300 pages, includes Junior and Senior school level study texts. (1st edition 1999. This book has been revised in 2010)
• Volume V, of 485 pages, discusses Buddhist ethics and education.(1st edition 2001)
• Volume VI, of 520 pages, highlights the practice of Buddhism in the human realm; and the study of wisdom. (1st edition 2004)
• Volume VII, of 502 pages, discusses the relationship between Chinese Buddhism and Indian Buddhism; and the integration of Buddhist studies with the world. (1st edition 2006)
• Volume VIII, of 352 pages, discusses on the system and training in Buddhism; and also the reason for vegetarian diet. (1st edition 2012)
