🟤法师简介 Venerable"s Profile:

- 定融法师于1994年澳洲悉尼出家。由于对佛法的好乐，法师于1998年自台湾佛学院毕业后并继续在台湾佛教研究所修学三年。

 - 定融法师亦持有澳洲斯威本科技大学的专业辅导硕士学位，及英国德比大学心理学荣誉学位。本着对弘扬佛法的热忱和众生的怜悯之心，法师对于佛法教育和心宁教育的推展工作总是不遗余力。法师很强调佛法须生活化和实用化，因此他致力于结合佛法教育和心理学知识来更有效的协助和引导人们如何面对和解决人在生活中及心宁上的问题。

- 自2002年起，法师再回返澳洲及远涉加拿大、台湾、香港、韩国与中国等多个国家从事教学工作、培训与参学。法师过去曾举办过的活动包括：各项佛学及心宁讲座、佛学课程、禅修班、佛学师资培训及无数的佛学、心宁、禅修、减压、觉醒等工作坊。 法师担任的职事包括：监院、当家、佛学教师、佛教心理辅导员、中小学校董、学校及佛教团体宗教顾问、佛教周日学校顾问、监狱辅导员、佛教团体理事、导师及顾问、及义工培训等工作。

- Venerable Ding Rong ordained in Sydney, Australia, in 1994. Due to his deep interest in the Dharma, he graduated from a Buddhist college in Taiwan in 1998 and continued his studies at a Buddhist research institute in Taiwan for three more years.

- Venerable Ding Rong also holds a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Swinburne University of Technology, Australia, and an Honours degree in Psychology from the University of Derby, UK. Driven by a passion for promoting the Dharma and a compassionate heart for all beings, he tirelessly works to advance Dharma education and mental well-being. He emphasizes the importance of making the Dharma practical and applicable in daily life. To this end, he strives to integrate Buddhist teachings with psychological knowledge to more effectively help and guide people in addressing life and mental health challenges.

- Since 2002, Venerable Ding Rong has traveled back to Australia and to Canada, Taiwan, Hong Kong, South Korea, China, and other countries to engage in teaching, training, and learning. His past activities include organizing various Dharma and mental well-being lectures, Dharma courses, meditation retreats, Dharma teacher training, and numerous workshops on Buddhism, mental wellness, meditation, stress relief, and awakening. His roles have included positions such as monastery supervisor, administrator, Dharma teacher, Buddhist counselor, board member for primary and secondary schools, religious advisor to schools and Buddhist organizations, advisor for Buddhist Sunday schools, prison counselor, Buddhist organization director, mentor and advisor, and volunteer trainer.
