💧 清明是华人的传统节日,本来和佛教并没有直接的关系,然而早已本土化的中国佛教是中国文化的重要组成部分,自然也会关注这一具有浓郁民族色彩的节日。
祭祖扫墓是清明节的主要内容。中国文化强调敬天法祖,特别重视对传统的继承和对祖先的尊敬,佛教同样注重传统和传承,同时强调度亡超生,知恩报恩,因此二者渐渐结合在一起,使得清明也成为佛教特别重视的“感恩节”。

💧 生命是一条绵延不息的长河,处在上游的祖先往往承担了艰难开创的职责,后辈的身上不仅继承了祖先的基因,流淌着祖先的血液,也承受了祖先的智慧和恩惠,因此应当对父母、对祖宗抱有感恩之心。佛教主张上报四重恩,其中之一便是报父母恩,父母辛勤养育儿女,可谓恩重如山,因此儿女对父母应当恭敬爱戴,生养死葬,永存孝思。同时,佛教还主张报七世父母之恩,不仅要孝敬今生父母,还要敬事过去世的父母尊长,这就是佛教的“大孝”,可谓推近及远,孝敬一切父母尊长,崇尚“普敬”、“普孝”,这些体现了佛教的博大宽广的情怀.

Parents work hard to raise their children, which can be said to be as heavy as a mountain. Therefore, children should respect and love their parents, raise them in life and bury them, and keep filial piety forever. At the same time, Buddhism also advocates repaying the kindness of the parents of the seventh generation, not only to honor the parents in this life, but also to honor the parents and elders of the past life. "Universal respect" and "General filial piety", these embody the broad feelings of Buddhism.
