Venerable Tsang Hui, spiritual patron of Zheng Xin Buddhist Association, established Hwa Tsang Monastery (HTM) in Homebush, Sydney, Australia, in the early 1980s. With the emphasis on education, it has become the training ground for Buddhist youth and monks over the past 30 years . Because of the need for various religious activities, such as children's class, youth program, dhamma and meditation classes, etc. The existing space has become inadequate. As a result, the current Abbess, Venerable Neng Rong, undertook to enlarge the monastery of Hwa Tsang (HTM) on two parcels of land behind the monastery. The monastery sought and obtained City Council approval to build a multipurpose room, library, children's activity centre and office.

On this special occasion of Wesak Day, Zheng Xin Buddhist Association hopes that all Buddhists will be able to donate to support the expansion plan of Hwa Tsang Monastery (HTM). The construction of a monastery is a splendid good deed, which can bring great benefits and merits. We hope everybody will be able to take this opportunity to donate.
