《Foundation Laying Ceremony》

今早会长「健宏师兄」及副会长「燕丽师姐」代表【正信佛友会】应【馬來西亞佛教基金会】邀請出席「菩提园增建青年培訓中心」奠基典礼。【正信佛友会】前会长「詒偉师兄」也以項目建築师代表出席。

9：30大衆入座, 由基金会主席「拿督洪祖丰」致词, 接著由馬佛總雪隆分会主席「明吉法师」致词。

过后, 法师大衆们移师到工地旁, 由不同派系法师们誦经洒凈, 恭请法法师代表排列用锄头象徵式奠基, 接著一批批項目顧问, 贊助人及各佛教团体们代表也啟动奠基礼。

完畢后,法师大衆前往大堂供僧用午膳。出席者也各各派領了一个「福袋」回去。 結束一个有意义的早上! 我们也呼吁大衆能給于此項目的大力支持, 希望建築早日落成, 广益大眾!

This morning, the President "Bro. Kian Hong" and the Vice-President "Sis. Yen Lee" represented the 【Zheng Xin Buddhist Association】at the invitation of the 【Yayasan Belia Buddhist Malaysia】 to attend the "Groundbreaking ceremony" of the "Additional Youth Training Center at Bodhi Garden".  【Zheng Xin Buddhist Association】 Past President "Bro. Heng“ was also present as architect for the project.

At 9:30, the public took their seats, and the chairman of the foundation, Dato Ang Choo Hong, delivered a speech, followed by the President of the Malaysian Buddhist Association, Branch of Selangor and Kuala Lumpur,  Venerable Ming Ji.

After that, the Venerables proceeded to the construction site, where Venerables from various sects chanted sutras and prayed. The Venerable representatives were invited to line up and symbolically lay the foundation with hoes after that. Groups of project consultants, sponsors, and representatives of various Buddhist groups also participated in the laying of the foundation.

Following the ceremony, the Venerables were ushered to the main hall for lunch dana.  A 'Blessing Bag' was given to each attendee to take home.  That ended today's meaningful morning! We are urging the public to provide strong support for this project, with the aim of completing the building as soon as possible and benefiting the public!
