今天是雪兰莪州卫塞节庆典，由八打灵再也观音亭主办。观音亭是雪兰莪州历史悠久的宗教场所。去年雪兰莪州卫塞节由沙亚南的菩提园和Samadhi Vihara联合举办。

此次卫塞节庆典附近设立了许多摊位，包括美食摊位、书摊、商品摊位和施医摊位。还有舍利展及佛教和佛法有关的文物展览。还有卫塞节庆典的花车展示。

众多佛教组织应邀参加今天的活动。为贵宾摆设了30多张桌子。每个出席也贈送一个卫塞节紀念杯,茶帶及一些出版物。【正信佛友会】由燕丽师姐(副主席)及邢师兄(執委)代表出席。

中午12点05分，YAB Dato Seri Amirudin bin Shari和YB 黃思汉抵达，活动即時开始。 雪兰莪州歌响起，接着是马来西亚国歌《Negaraku》和三宝歌。欢迎舞是四人《敦煌》舞。

观音亭主持明吉法师随后上台致欢迎词。随后，雪兰莪州务大臣YAB Dato Seri Amirudin 受邀上台致辞。

明吉法师和嘉宾州务大臣YAB Dato Seri Amirudin bin Shari齐聚台上合影。明吉法师还向州务大臣赠送了感谢礼物。各跨宗教团体(佛教、基督教、锡克教、印度教、道教) 代表也纷纷上台合影。

进餐时间到了。大会为大家提供了美味可口的素食午餐。

青少年和儿童也在台上表演了各种音乐表演。

午餐后，州务大臣和其他贵宾在明吉法师的陪同下于約下午 1:08 左右离开。YB 黃思汉 卻留下来与明吉法师一起在该地区走走逛逛一会儿。

这是一个非常热闹和成功的一天，由许多敬业的志愿者把庆典办得非常好。这也显示出雪兰莪州政府的大力支持。这是一种很有意义的庆祝卫塞节方式！

Today is the Selangor State Level Wesak Day Celebration hosted by Petaling Jaya Kwan Imm Teng. Kwan Imm Teng is a place of worship that has existed for years in Selangor. Last year, Selangor Wesak Day was jointly hosted by Bodhi Park and Samadhi Vihara in Shah Alam.

There were many stalls set up within the vicinity for this Wesak Day Celebration, including food stalls, book stalls, merchandise stalls, and medical stalls. There were also relic exhibits and exhibitions related to Buddhism and Dhamma. There is also a display of floats for the Wesak Day celebration.

Numerous Buddhist organisations were invited to take part in today's event. There were more than 30 tables set up for the distinguished guests. Each guest were given a door gifts of Weak Day Mug, Tea Bags and various publications.【Zheng Xin Buddhist Association】 was represented by Sis. Yen Lee (Vice President) and Bro. Heng (Executive Committee Member).

At 12:05pm, YAB Dato Seri Amirudin bin Shari and YB Ng Sze Han arrived to start the function. The Selangor State Song was played, followed by the Malaysian National Anthem, Negaraku, and the Triple Gem Song. There is a welcoming dance featuring a 4-person "Dun Huang' dance.
Venerable Ming Ji, the Abbot of Kwan Imm Teng, then went upstage to deliver his welcoming speech. Subsequently, the Menteri Besar of Selangor, Dato Seri Amirudin bin Shari, was invited to give a speech on stage.

Venerable Ming Ji and guests, Menteri Besar YAB Dato Seri Amirudin and EXCO YB Ng Sze Han, gathered on stage for a photo shoot. Venerable Ming Ji also presented a gift of thanks to the Menteri Besar. All the representatives of the Interfaith Group （Buddhist, Christian, Sikhism, Hinduism, Taosim）from various religious bodies also joined up on the stage for group photos.

Time for food. Delicious and glorious vegetarian food was served to all guests.
Various musical performances by youth and children were also performed on stage.

After lunch, Menteri Besar and other VIP guests left at around 1:08pm, accompanied by Venerable Ming Ji. YB Ng Sze Han stayed and walked around the area for a while with Venerable Ming Ji.

It was a very crowded and successful day put up by lots of dedicated volunteers. It also show a very strong support from the State Government of Selangor. Very good job done and a meaningful way to celebrate Wesak!
